The quality of the room was average. Nothing fancy. The room smelled when we walked in like cleaning detergents. The room was pretty clean, besides a brownish colored stain on the inside of the comforter. The bed was comfortable, but the pillows were not. I like a dark room when sleeping, but the curtains let in a lot of light. The doors were loud and you could hear every door open and close down the hallway. They charge $3 for a bottle of water. So bring your own. After seeing another reviewer mention the hotel charging additional fees, I checked my credit card and see a $20 fee pending from the hotel. Now I have to watch and follow up on that. I wouldn't return to this hotel.
Comfortable place. Convenient location. Several restaurants nearby. They don't seem to want to honor corporate discounts, though. Might want to iron that out before you arrive.
We Stayed at Fairfield hotel on Saturday, May 19, 2018 and Departed on Sunday, May 20, 2018. Be Careful when using you Credit Card there, they tend to try to get Extra Money than they should. I started getting Alerts on my cell phone around 3am, showing this Hotel tried 3 times to charge over $139 each from my checking account. I Immediately went to the Front Desk and a Manager Betsy was there. I asked her can you tell me what is going on you guys keep hitting my account for some charges. She told me that I had 6 rooms on Hold Under my Name, which had to be a Glitch/Lie!! I told her that should Not be. the rooms I had on Hold was back in April which was cancelled a week later. Also, when my Sister called in May to reserve her room, she gave my Name and was told there are NO Rooms under that Name. So if I had 6 rooms on Hold, she should have been Able to get a Room UNDER MY NAME. Betsy had a Very Bad Attitude. As long as she's a Manager their, We will NOT Stay at this Hotel Ever again. Also, my Sister Room had Bed Bug. Brother in Law one in their Bed while Returning BACK from an event. They had to Switch Rooms. Be Watchful of your Credit Cards and Rooms, Check them Beds.Thanks Betsy for POOR Customer Service
The rooms were the best. They serve a really nice breakfast. The courtyard was absolutely beautiful. I'd stay there just to have a weekend away from home it was so nice. Walking distance to some nice places.
Comfortable and clean. Nice enough folks. Convenient to get to from the highway. Liked that a few food joints and gas are close by.Good economical choice if you're going through Madison.
