Buyer Beware!!I got injured here because they use dangerous massage techniques. I got a massage from Alex and he stretched so hard on my hands & wrists that he tore my ligaments. - Please see the photos of my hands belowNow I have nerve damage in my thumbs & fingers which causes me considerable chronic pain. I tried talking to the owner but he insisted that their methods are perfectly safe. I tried contacting massage envy corporate about it but they never responded to me at all. What a terrible massage! I will never go back there. I will never let a massage therapist work on my hands again. I don't know why Alex thought it was a good idea to overstretch my hands and wrists. What a terrible experience and what an awful therapist. Terrible! Just Terrible! - 07.05.2017Update - 07.29.2017 - I'm stuck in a splint on one hand with multiple trips to the hand clinic. Plus i'm still wearing a brace on the other hand due to nerve damage from the same massage. All because Massage Envy hires poorly trained therapists and uses dangerous stretching techniques. Beware of this place. Do not visit Massage Envy. Do not let them stretch you.Update - 10.26.2017 - It has been over 4 months, and my thumb still doesn't work right because of massage envy's dangerous massage techniques. The pain is still the same! Massage Envy never even bothered to pay for my medical bills, and I still can't get the proper care for my hands because I can't afford certain procedures on my own. Massage Envy has really hurt me, financially & physically. Do not visit this place! Beware! Stay away. Don't let them hurt you.Update - 1.12.2018 - It has been nearly 7 months and my hands are still wounded! What an awful place! Spare yourself the pain and never get a massage here!
Great experiences at Massage Envy in Middleton. I have a massage envy only a few miles from my house, but I drive an extra 30 minutes to see Jamie the esthetician in Middleton. She has turned my skin around and lightened up my dark pigmented spots. She is awesome. The front desk staff and the therapists have all been great too.
My review is reflective on the customer service side. Everything was going great and signed up for the year membership but when it comes to cancelling they make it IMPOSSIBLE! And they get you with the whole "once the membership is done you will automatically be enrolled in the month-to-month plan", and take your money. You need to MAIL in a cancellation form! We are not in the stone age, PLEASE make this process more friendly for those who live far away and don't own printers! Very angry with this.But everything else, the massages were amazing, great environment.
Not worth the time or money. I've gone to several different businesses for massages and this was my least favorite. I requested a therapist that could provide a deep pressure massage, but ended up with someone that gave the lightest touch massage I've ever had - even despite requests for more pressure. Front desk staff and my masseuse weren't very attentive. The facility itself felt very "cookie cutter" I didn't get the overall relaxing atmosphere that I was hoping for. I recommend Elements Massage in Middleton instead, they're much better and worth the time & money.
