Just moved out of a Prima apartment and can't say enough about the maintenance and office staff. My job called me away from the area and they assisted me in the sublet process. Very smooth. I was running late on the move-out and the maintenance staff was very accommodating. One of the staff even carried a couple boxes out for me.
Some of the rudest rental management I have ever experienced. The treatment of a potential resident was astounding. I have happily rented at several apartment companies, and I have never had such a pigheaded experience from the rental staff. They wouldn't schedule a tour after several requests. If they treat potential customers like garbage, I can't imagine how horribly they treat their tenants. This company is very sketchy. If any company "requires" you to send your proof of income before a simple tour, there are some clear management issues. You should never send your proof of income until after you decide to officially rent as this is a serious identity theft concern.
I would give a 0 star rating, if I could. Management company is horrible. Buildings are run down. They allow tenants to not clean up after their dogs. They allow cars to use the parking lots as a graveyard. My car was damaged so badly by their plow, my car was not drivable & then they denied doing the damage. Everything about this company is horrible. I am embarrassed to rent from them.
just completed a 2 year tenancy with Prima. Good experience overall, prompt replies to minor maintenance issues, a bit longer to address larger maintenance issues (replacement of an appliance). Fair handling of security deposit. Staff were easy to reach by phone or email and unit turnover was handled professionally.
Have had mold in our 3rd bedroom for 3 months now. At first it was a new excuse every week why they couldn't come fix it. Now they won't even get back to us. So the inspector opened a case. Have fun getting fined prima! You slumlord p.o.s
