Best cheese curds I've had yet in Madison. Had the fried chicken sandwich which was phenomenal. Whole group was impressed with the food - would definitely recommend and will definitely be back.
Craftsman is ok. There are similar restaurants with the same vibe both in Middleton and downtown that have better products. I enjoyed my beer but the brisket mac I ordered was overpriced and had no flavor. If you're going to charge $15 for Mac and cheese it better be amazing, and it tasted like something I would have made (I can't cook).Check out World Of Beer for a better dining experience.
I highly recommend Craftsman Table and Tap restaurant as a party venue.we recently celebrated our daughters wedding reception there. From start to finish the experience was perfect.Torre, the event planner, was extremely professional. She helped in every aspect of the planning from food choices, to table arrangement, planning of the beverages ( alcoholic and non- alcoholic) , table linens etc. She corresponded by email regularly and everything in the order was written out clearly with prices included. On the day of the party, everything turned out perfectly. The food was excellent, everything was displayed beautifully, restocked regularly, dishes cleared constantly etc. All the staff were very attentive. We had absolutely no complaints. In addition Jamie, the executive chef and Nick the restaurant manager were extremely attentive and professional. We couldnt have been more pleased with the outcome- and each of 50 guests would agree.
I had a really nice meal here. The pretzels, mushroom soup, and Thai Chicken sandwich were all very good. Service was good but not a ton of people at 11AM. Even the ice tea was better than average.
A good place with unique food and drinks. They also have amazing fried cheese curds. When it gets busy service gets super slow, but other than that it's a good place.
